ca.general is an unmoderated newsgroup for topics related to California which are not already covered by another ca.* newsgroup. It is also to provide a general discussion area to bring together Californians, prospective Cailfornia residents and visitors for topics relevant to them.

The ca.* newsgroups are only for discussion of subjects related to California. They were made for residents of California and others interested in California. They are intended for topics directly relevant to residents of California.
