From southbound Hwy 87, including from downtown San Jose, San Jose International Airport and US101 on the peninsula:

• Take Hwy 87 (Guadalupe Parkway) southbound until it ends at Hwy 85.
• Exit at Hwy 85 southbound (Exit 1A) toward Gilroy.
• Continue below with the directions from southbound Hwy 85.

From southbound Hwy 85, including from I-280 from the peninsula:

• Take southbound Hwy 85 to Blossom Hill Rd. (When Caltrans installs the exit number, this will be Exit 4. The exit number wasn't posted yet at the time of this writing.)
• Turn left onto eastbound Blossom Hill Road.
• After 1/4 mile, turn left at the traffic signal onto Snell Ave.
• Immediately turn right into the parking lot just after the gas station on the corner of Snell and Blossom Hill.
• Continue through the parking lot past the gas station, Red Wings Shoes and Jack in the Box. Then you'll be able to see Mountain Mike.
• Alternative route if you miss the left turn at Snell: Continue for a block and make the first U-turn on Blossom Hill. Mountain Mike's will be on the right when heading back toward Snell.

From Milpitas, Berryessa, East San Jose and the East Bay Area from I-880 or I-680:

• Take I-880 or I-680 southbound to US101.
• Take US101 southbound to the SR82/Blossom Hill Rd exit in South San Jose. It's about 6-1/2 miles south of the I-680/I-280/US101 mega-interchange. (When Caltrans installs the exit number, this will be Exit 378. The exit number wasn't posted yet at the time of this writing.)
• Turn right on westbound Blossom Hill Rd for 1.8 miles.
• About 500 ft after passing the Judith St intersection, Mountain Mike's will be on the right. (It's just before the Jack-in-the-Box.)

From South San Jose and the Coyote Valley:

• Take US101 northbound (past Hwy 85) to SR82/Blossom Hill Rd. (When Caltrans installs the exit number, this will be Exit 378. The exit number wasn't posted yet at the time of this writing.)
• Turn left onto westbound Blossom Hill Rd for about 1.8 miles.
• About 500 ft after passing the Judith St intersection, Mountain Mike's will be on the right. (It's just before the Jack-in-the-Box.)

Via Public Transportation:

• VTA Light Rail: Take a southbound ("Santa Teresa") trolley to the Snell station - it's just two stops before the end of the line in South San Jose.

  Purchase a one-way pass before boarding the trolley. (If you use a Bay Area Clipper card, it will buy a one-way pass if you don't have a monthly pass.) Use a one-way pass just in case anyone offers you a ride back; or if not, it's still the same price as a day pass if you buy another one-way pass for the return trip.

  From the Snell station, walk north to the traffic signal at Snell Ave. Use the crosswalk to cross Snell. Continue one block north to Blossom Hill Rd. Use the crosswalk at the signal to cross Blossom Hill. Turn right along Blossom Hill - Mountain Mike's will be the fourth building on the left (just after the Jack-in-the-Box.)

• VTA Bus: there is no Saturday evening VTA bus service to Snell and Blossom Hill.
• Caltrain: Buy a ticket at the vending machine before boarding a Caltrain. Note that on weekends, all Caltrain service is "local" - trains stop at all stations. There is no bullet or express Caltrain service on weekends. Also, Caltrain weekend service runs only between San Francisco and the downtown San Jose train station. Tamien is served by a shuttle bus and there is no Caltrain weekend service south of Tamien.

  You want to get from the downtown San Jose train station to the Tamien station. Take the Caltrain shuttle bus - your Caltrain ticket is good for the ride.

  The Tamien Caltrain station is a connection point to the VTA light rail. Take the tunnel under the Hwy 87 freeway and then the stairs or elevator up to the VTA Tamien light rail station in the freeway median. Buy a ticket at the vending machine before boarding the trolley. Take a southbound ("Santa Teresa" trolley to the Snell station and continue with the directions shown above for light rail.

  The last northbound Caltrain on Saturday leaves San Jose at 10:30PM and there is no Tamien shuttle bus to meet the last train. If you need this, ask on sbay.org's social mail list ahead of time for a ride so that someone can drop you off at the train station. (It takes less than 15 minutes to reach the downtown train station via Hwys 85/87.)

Fly-in directions:

These are directions from local airports with rental car or bus/rail service. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to fly in for an sbay.org pizza.

• From San Jose International Airport, airline terminal (by car):
  • Use the new Skyport Blvd exit from the airport - follow the signs toward Hwy 87.
  • Turn right (southbound) on Hwy 87.
  • Continue with the directions from Hwy 87 listed above
• From San Jose International Airport, airline terminal (by bus/rail):
  • Take the VTA Airport Flyer bus to the Metro/Airport light rail station. (15 minutes by bus)
  • Continue with the directions for Public Transportation on VTA Light Rail (southbound) listed above. (35 minutes by rail)
• From San Jose International Airport, Atlantic Aviation San Jose general aviation terminal (by car):
  • Turn left on Coleman Ave.
  • At the I-880 interchange, cross over I-880 and then turn left to enter I-880 northbound
  • Take I-880 northbound to US101 southbound (follow the sign toward Los Angeles.)
  • Continue with the directions from I-880 and East San Jose listed above.
• From Reid-Hillview Airport (by car):
  • At the airport exit, turn right on Capitol Expressway.
  • At the US-101 interchange, enter US 101 southbound (toward Los Angeles).
  • Proceed with the directions from East San Jose listed above.
• From Reid-Hillview Airport (by bus/rail):
  • Walk southeastbound on Capitol Expressway from the airport, across Tully Road to the VTA Bus Transit Center at Eastridge Mall.
  • Take VTA Bus Route 70 to the end of the line at the Capitol light rail station (30 minutes by bus.) Route 70 stops running after 10PM on Saturdays so you may want to ask on the sbay.org social mail list for a later ride back to the airport.
  • Continue with the directions for Public Transportation on VTA Light Rail (southbound) listed above. (10 minutes by rail.) Light rail operates until 2AM.
• Alternate from Reid-Hillview Airport (by bus/rail):
  • Walk southeastbound on Capitol Expressway from the airport, across Tully Road to the VTA Bus Transit Center at Eastridge Mall.
  • Take VTA Bus Route 22 or VTA rapid Bus Route 522 to the Santa Clara light rail station (Santa Clara Street and North First Street, 30 minutes by bus.) Routes 22 and 522 operate 24 hours.
  • Continue with the directions for Public Transportation on VTA Light Rail (southbound) listed above. (15 minutes by rail.) Light rail operates until 2AM.
