GPS Coordinates:

From Cupertino and the West Valley:

• Take Hwy 85 northbound toward Mtn View.
• Exit at Hwy 82/El Camino Real "northbound". (Your compass/GPS will show this exit ramp actually loops around right from northbound to westbound.)
• After crossing over the freeway, turn left in the first block into the shopping center.
• The Round Table Pizza is in the back corner of the complex. It's behind the Burger King, which obstructs view of it, so use it as a landmark if needed.

From Hwy 237, North San Jose, Milpitas and Fremont:

• Take Hwy 237 westbound to the end of the freeway in Mtn View.
• When Hwy 237 ends, turn left at the traffic signal at Hwy 82/El Camino Real.
• Within the first block, turn right at the Burger King.
• The Round Table is in the far corner of the shopping center, behind the Burger King.

From Santa Clara, downtown San Jose, and the South Valley:

• Take US 101 northbound.
• Exit at Hwy 237 westbound (to Mtn View).
• When Hwy 237 ends, turn left at the traffic signal at Hwy 82/El Camino Real.
• Within the first block, turn right at the Burger King.
• The Round Table is in the far corner of the shopping center, behind the Burger King.

From the San Francisco peninsula via US101:

• Take US 101 southbound.
• Exit to Hwy 85 southbound.
• Exit to El Camino Real/Grant Rd. This ramp actually enters Hwy 237 westbound for the last fraction of a mile before it ends at Hwy 82/El Camino Real.
• Turn left at the traffic signal at Hwy 82/El Camino Real.
• Within the first block, turn right at the Burger King.
• The Round Table is in the far corner of the shopping center, behind the Burger King.

From I880 corridor, Hayward and Oakland

• Take the Dumbarton Bridge (Hwy 84) across the Bay.
• Take US 101 southbound.
• Continue with the directions above from the peninsula via US 101.

From I680 corridor, Dublin and Walnut Creek

• Take I-680 southbound to Fremont
• Exit at Hwy 262 (the second Mission Blvd exit) westbound. The signs say "To I-880".
• In less than a mile, Hwy 262 becomes an on-ramp to I-880 southbound.
• In 3-1/2 miles, exit at Hwy 237 westbound, toward Mountain View.
• Take Hwy 237 westbound for 9 miles until freeway ends in Mountain View.
• Turn left at the traffic signal at Hwy 82/El Camino Real.
• Within the first block, turn right at the Burger King.
• The Round Table is in the far corner of the shopping center, behind the Burger King.

From the San Francisco peninsula via I-280:

• Take I-280 southbound.
• Exit to Hwy 85 northbound (to Mtn View).
• Exit at Hwy 82/El Camino Real "northbound". (Your compass/GPS will show this exit ramp actually loops around right from northbound to westbound.)

Via Public Transportation:

• VTA Light Rail: Take light rail to the Evelyn station in Mtn View. (Bicyclists are advised to use the Downtown Mtn View station due to road widening construction on Evelyn near the Evelyn station.) Then walk or bicycle 1 mile south on the newly-opened segment of the Stevens Creek Trail to the Round Table Pizza. (There are potential bus transfers at the downtown Mtn View train station but they'll take much longer than walking a mile from Evelyn.)
  • From the Evelyn station, go west on Evelyn for 1 block and pass the Hwy 85 undercrossing.
  • From the Downtown Mtn View train station, go east on Evelyn for about 2 blocks.
  • The Stevens Creek Trail can be recognized by the bike/pedestrian overpass over Central Expwy and the railroad tracks, adjacent to Hwy 85. (But you'll be taking the trail the other way - don't use the bridge over the railroad if you're coming from the train stations.) Take the Stevens Creek Trail south. There's a new bike/pedestrian bridge over Hwy 237 at the Hwy 85 interchange.
  • The trail ends at Yuba Dr. Take Yuba Dr 1 block south to El Camino Real.
  • The Round Table is across El Camino - you may need to go to the traffic signal at Grant/Hwy 237 to cross safely.

• VTA Bus: VTA Bus Route 22 serves El Camino and Grant 24 hours a day.

• VTA bus routes 35 and 51 may be used to get to the vicinity of the meeting before it starts. But there is no return trip on these routes so they're discouraged (and hence no links to them.) Ask on our social mail list about getting a ride back before trying to take these routes there.

• CalTrain: Caltrain is closed on weekends for construction until April 2004. The "RRX" replacement bus service (nicknamed "CalBus") can be used from the peninsula to get to Palo Alto to connect with VTA Bus Route 22. However, RRX service ends at 8PM, well before the SBAY Pizza is over. So make sure you have other arrangements for your return trip.

Fly-in directions:

These are directions from local airports with rental car or bus/rail service. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to fly in for an sbay.org pizza.

• From San Jose International Airport, airline terminal (by car):
  • Exit the airport terminal to Hwy 87.
  • Turn left (northbound) on Hwy 87.
  • Enter US-101 northbound at the 87/101 junction.
  • Proceed northbound to the Hwy 237 westbound exit in Mtn View.
  • Continue with the directions from Hwy 237 listed above.
• From San Jose International Airport, airline terminal (by transit):
  • Take the VTA Airport Flyer shuttle bus from the terminal to the Santa Clara Caltrain station. (The bus marquee sign should say "Caltrain".)
  • At the train station, catch VTA Bus Route 22 westbound. (The bus marquee should say "Palo Alto" or "Menlo Park".)
  • The schedule says the ride should be about 25 minutes to Grant Rd/Hwy 237.
  • Activate the stop signal (push a button or pull a cord as indicated) when the bus crosses over Hwy 85.
  • Exit the bus at Grant Rd.
  • Walk to the Round Table on the southwest side of the El Camino/Grant intersection.
• From San Jose International Airport, SJ Jet Center general aviation terminal (by car):
  • Turn right on Coleman Ave.
  • Continue as Coleman changes names to De La Cruz Blvd.
  • Enter US-101 northbound (go over the freeway first) at the 101 interchange.
  • Proceed northbound to the Hwy 237 westbound exit in Mtn View.
  • Continue with the directions from Hwy 237 listed above.
• From San Jose International Airport, SJ Jet Center general aviation terminal (by transit):
  • Ask the Jet Center customer service desk if a courtesy shuttle is available to the Santa Clara Caltrain station. Take it if it's available.
  • Otherwise, walk right on Coleman Ave, right on Brokaw Rd and left on Martin Ave to the Airport long term and employee parking lot. (You're going to the other side of the air traffic control tower - use it as a landmark.) Take the VTA Airport Flyer shuttle bus from shuttle bus "Shelter N" to the Santa Clara Caltrain station. (The bus marquee sign should say "Caltrain".)
  • At the train station, catch VTA Bus Route 22 westbound. (The bus marquee should say "Palo Alto" or "Menlo Park".)
  • The schedule says the ride should be about 25 minutes to Grant Rd/Hwy 237.

  • Enterprise Rent-a-car is on-field at 2635 Cunningham Ave, within the block from the terminal building.
  • From Cunningham, turn left on Capitol Expwy.
  • Exit to I-680 "southbound".
  • In less than a mile, exit to US 101 northbound (toward San Francisco.)
  • Continue 11 miles to Hwy 237 westbound in Mtn View.
  • Continue with the directions from Hwy 237 above.
• From San Jose Reid-Hillview Airport (by transit):
  • Transit is not recommended - land at SJC or rent a car from RHV. The bus ride from RHV to Mtn View is 90 minutes one way. Ask someone for a ride before trying this.
  • If you insist, you can catch VTA Bus Route 22 at Eastridge Mall, 3/4 mile south of Cunningham (the airport main entrance) on Capitol Expwy.
