Directions to Pizza My Heart at 117 E San Carlos, San Jose, CA

The city has a downtown parking web site sjdowntownparking.com. Street parking at metered spaces is free after 6pm Saturdays - but it may be difficult to find especially on nights with Sharks games.

There are two parking garages adjacent to the Pizza My Heart location. Pizza My Heart is not on the city's list of businesses which can offer 2-hour parking validations for these garages. (It costs the businesses to do that.)

It was pointed out to us that the garage underneath the restaurant (entry from 4th Street on the right approaching San Carlos St) does not charge on Saturday evenings after 6PM.

Highway 87 southbound Exit 6B, Julian Street

Turn left onto St James Street. Turn right on 4th St (one way). (Expect Arena traffic at this exit when there is an event.)

Highway 87 southbound Exit 6A, Park Avenue/San Carlos St, SR 82

Caution for VTA light rail tracks on Delmas Avenue - trains will stop only when you have a green light. Proceed straight onto Delmas Avenue. After one block, turn left on W San Carlos Avenue.

Highway 87 northbound Exit 6, to Auzerais Avenue

Caution for VTA light rail tracks on Woz Way and San Carlos St - trains will stop only when you have a green light. Turn left on Woz Way. Turn right on W San Carlos Avenue.

Highway 87 northbound Exit 6, to Santa Clara Street

Turn right on Santa Clara Street. Turn right on 4th Street. (Expect Arena traffic at this exit when there is an event.)

Interstate 280 "northbound" Exit 2, 7th Street

Turn right on 7th Street. Turn left on E San Salvador Street. Turn right on S 3rd Street.

Interstate 280 "northbound" Exit 3A, Guadalupe Parkway/Highway 87 to downtown San Jose

Continue on the skyway to Santa Clara Street. See Highway 87 Exit 6 to Santa Clara Street above. (Expect Arena traffic at this exit when there is an event.)

Interstate 280 "southbound" Exit 3A, Guadalupe Parkway/Highway 87 to downtown San Jose

Continue on the skyway to Santa Clara Street. See Highway 87 Exit 6 to Santa Clara Street above. (Expect Arena traffic at this exit when there is an event.)

Interstate 280 "southbound" Exit 2B, Vine Street/Almaden Avenue

Turn left on S Almaden Avenue. Turn right on W San Carlos Street.

Interstate 280 "southbound" Exit 2A, 7th Street

Turn right on E Virginia Street. Turn right on S 3rd Street.

On Caltrain: exit at the San Jose Diridon downtown train station. Take one of:

• 902 Mountain View light rail train: A transfer is free with Caltrain ticket for 2 or more fare zones. Otherwise buy light rail pass at station. Trolleys/light rail are on the west side of the train station.
• 201 Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) bus to San Jose State University (free). Buses are on the east side of the train station.

The following VTA bus routes stop at the Paseo de San Antonio light rail station on Saturday evenings.

• 23 DeAnza College to Alum Rock Transit Center
• 66 Kaiser San Jose to Milpitas/Dixon Road
• 68 Gilroy Transit Center
• 82 Westgate to Downtown San Jose (service ends early - no return on this route)

Many more bus routes serve the Santa Clara light rail station a few blocks away. Walk 2 blocks south in the transit mall to Paseo de San Antonio. Turn left at the Paseo de San Antonio pedestrian mall (toward SJSU). Continue with the directions from the light rail above.
