- From Lawrence Expwy northbound (Cupertino, Campbell, Saratoga):

- Take Lawrence Expwy northbound to Duane Ave (the last traffic signal
before US 101.)
- Turn left on Duane.
- After a short block, Duane hits a T-intersection facing the fenced-off
entrance of AMD's headquarters. Turn right at the traffic signal to stay
on Duane.
- Follow Duane as it makes a left turn along the edge of the AMD campus.
- At the traffic light with Deguigne, turn right into the parking lot.
- Pizza Depot is at the center of the complex.
- From US 101 northbound (Santa Clara, San Jose):

- Exit Lawrence Expwy southbound.
This will be Exit 394 when CalTrans posts the number.
- Turn left onto southbound Lawrence Expwy.
- Proceed to Duane Ave, the first traffic signal
after the interchange.
- Turn right on Duane.
- After a short block, Duane hits a T-intersection facing the
entrance of AMD's headquarters. Turn right at the traffic signal to stay
on Duane.
- Follow Duane as it makes a left turn along the edge of the AMD campus.
- At the traffic light with Deguigne, turn right into the parking lot.

- From US 101 southbound (Mtn View, Peninsula, SF):

- Exit at Fair Oaks Ave southbound.
This will be Exit 395B when CalTrans posts the number.
- Turn right onto southbound Fair Oaks Ave.
- Proceed 3/4 mile to the traffic signal at Duane Ave.
- Turn left on E Duane Ave.
- Proceed 1/2 mile.
- At the traffic light with Deguigne, turn left into the parking lot.
- Pizza Depot is at the center of the complex.
- From SR237 (Milpitas, Fremont, East Bay):

- Take I-880 southbound to SR237.
This will be Exit 8C when CalTrans posts the number.
- Take SR237 westbound to Lawrence Expwy southbound in Sunnyvale.
This will be Exit 5 when CalTrans posts the number.
- Proceed to Duane Ave, the first traffic signal after US 101.
- Turn right on Duane.

- Via Bicycle:

Be aware of several bicycle hazards in the area.
- The freeway and expressway crossings in this area are hazardous for bicycles.
- Fair Oaks Ave has no bike lanes and no room for bikes.
- Tasman Drive (along the light rail line) has no bike lanes.
But there are some useful resources in the area.
- There's a bike/pedestrian bridge over US 101 just east of Fair Oaks.
- Wolfe has bike lanes and Duane has room for bikes. This is the
primary access from central Sunnyvale.
- Instead of using Tasman, roads to its north have bike lanes or
room for bikes. They are Persian Dr (south side of Hwy 237) and Elko Dr.
- Sunnyvale's Hetch-Hetchy bike trail parallels just north of US 101.
Use this route coming from the Fair Oaks light rail station:
- Take the Sunnyvale Creek levee south from Tasman (at the east end
of the station.)
- Turn left at the Hetch-Hetchy bike trail. (You can't go farther
because US 101 blocks the way.)
- Turn right at Hiddenlake, the first street crossing.
- Take the first right at Lakehaven Dr into a cul-de-sac.
- Take the bike/pedestrian bridge south over US 101.
- Turn right on Ahwanee - there is no bike lane so you may prefer the
sidewalk. Ride at pedestrian speed when on sidewalks.
- Take the first right on San Junipero Dr
- Take a quick left and right onto San Miguel Ave to go around a school.
- Turn left on Duane.
- Pizza Depot is on the left at the intersection with Deguigne.
- Via Public Transportation:

There are only limited transit options on Saturday evenings in this area.
- Caltrain:
make arrangements via the

for someone to pick you up at the Sunnyvale or Lawrence Caltrain stations.
- VTA light rail:
make arrangements via the

for someone to pick you up at the VTA Old Ironsides light rail station
on the
Mountain View-Winchester line.
(The Fair Oaks, Reamwood and Vienna stations have no parking for pickup.)
- VTA Bus:
VTA bus 55
(Old Ironsides light rail station to DeAnza College)
stops at Duane and Deguigne.
The last southbound return bus toward DeAnza College is 9:15PM.
The last northbound return bus toward Old Ironsides is 9:45PM.
- VTA light rail
runs on 15 minute intervals before the meeting and 30 minute intervals
afterward.
With a bicycle, use the Fair Oaks station and follow the
directions above.
If transferring to a bus, you can use VTA bus 55 from
the Old Ironsides station.

for someone to pick you up at Reid-Hillview Airport (KRHV) or
Atlantic Aviation San Jose at San Jose International Airport (KSJC).
Note: there is no public access to the nearby
Moffett Federal Airfield (KNUQ).
If needed or preferred, these are directions from the airports with
a rental car or public transit.
- From
San Jose International Airport, airline terminal (by car):
- Exit the airport via signs to Hwy 87.
- Turn left (northbound) on Hwy 87.
- Hwy 87 immediately enters the junction with US 101.
Take the left lanes to go to US 101.
- Follow the directions from US 101 above.
- From San Jose International Airport, airline terminal (by transit):
- Take the VTA Airport Flyer
(VTA Bus Route 10)
eastbound to the Metro/Airport light rail station.
- Buy a light rail ticket at the vending machine on the platform.
- Catch a "Downtown Mtn View" trolley.
- Get off the trolley at the Old Ironsides station.
- Exit the Old Ironsides station toward Old Ironsides Dr.
Turn right and cross Tasman Drive to the VTA bus stop.
- Catch
VTA bus 55
- In about 15 minutes, after the bus crosses US 101 and turns from
Lawrence Expwy onto Duane and makes a right and left turn,
get off at Duane and Deguigne.
- From San Jose International Airport, general aviation terminal
- Note: Atlantic Aviation San Jose (formerly San Jose Jet Center)
will charge a parking fee.
It can be waived if you purchase a minimum amount of fuel.
- Rental cars are available 24 hours at Atlantic Aviation.
- Turn right on Coleman stay in the 2 right lanes.
- Stay right at the interchange - follow the sign to De La Cruz Blvd
and US 101.
- At the north end of the airport,
cross over US 101 and use the freeway entrance to US 101 northbound.
- Continue with the driving directions for US 101 northbound above.
- From Reid-Hillview Airport (by car):
- Enterprise Rent-a-car is located at the Airport Shoppe on Cunningham Dr.
- At the airport exit, turn left on Capitol Expwy.
- At the I-680 interchange, use #2 lane to enter I-680 southbound.
- Soon after entering I-680 exit to US 101 northbound
(toward San Francisco.)
- Follow the directions from US 101 above.
- From Reid-Hillview Airport (by transit):
- Note: this will work but takes too long unless you're a transit freak.
(Make arrangements for someone to pick you up at the airport instead.)
- Walk to Eastridge Mall across Tully Rd southeast of the airport to the
VTA bus transit center.
- Take
VTA Bus Route 22
or
VTA Rapid Bus Route 522
to the VTA Santa Clara light rail station at 1st Street in downtown San Jose.
Route 22 runs 24 hours.
- At the VTA Santa Clara light rail station northbound platform on 1st Street,
catch a
"Downtown Mountain View" trolley.
- Get off the trolley at the Old Ironsides station.
- Exit the Old Ironsides station toward Old Ironsides Dr.
Turn right and cross Tasman Drive to the VTA bus stop.
- Catch
VTA bus 55
